Basic Life Support, or BLS, refers to the type of care that first-responders, healthcare providers and public safety professionals provide to anyone who is experiencing Cardiac Arrest -respiratory distress or an obstructed airway. It requires knowledge & skills in cardiopulmonary - resuscitation (CPR), using automated external defibrillators (AED) and relieving airway obstructions in patients of every age. 

 Do you know how to help someone you suspect has overdosed on opioids? This interactive 45-minute course will provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need to respond to a known or suspected opioid overdose emergency.

In this course, you will learn:

• To recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.
• The appropriate care to provide is based on the person's breathing and level of responsiveness.
• How to give naloxone using several assorted products -- a nasal atomizer, Narcan ® Nasal Spray and EVZIO ® -- to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

Whether you're adding this course to supplement other first aid training or are taking it as your first exposure to first aid training – you will gain the knowledge you need to respond to an opioid overdose emergency.

In this 35-minute course, you will learn the basics in caring for cats and dogs through a variety of topics – from understanding and checking your pet's vital signs, to preventative care for cats and dogs, to caring for the most critical emergency situations - including breathing and cardiac emergencies, wounds, bleeding, and seizures

 Designed primarily for youth ages 8 and older, this course will prepare students to be better babysitters. Topics include how to provide care for infants and children; how to stay safe; what to do in an emergency; how to choose age-appropriate activities; and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. Pediatric First Aid /CPR/AED Training. The course consists of six interactive modules featuring video, activities, games, and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business. This course, which includes a final exam at the end, takes about 4 hours to complete. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a printable certificate.
